WELL Webinar: Issues of Race and Gender Equity in this Moment in Time

September 9 | 10 AM | ZOOM

Join the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce for our first WELL Webinar. We are very excited to announce our guest speaker, Elizabeth Newman from the San Francisco Department on the Status of Women.

She will be covering topics including:

  • Pay equity: Both gender and race factor into the wage gap, often riven by unconscious bias. While California has adopted strong equal pay laws in recent years, individuals and employers can implement additional strategies to ensure they have fair pay for all.
  • Work Life Fit: There is no such thing as balance for anyone at this time, but women and people of color are disproportionately impacted by the increase demands for family care. Managers can still create as inclusive “workplace” even as how, when, and where we work has been transformed.
