San Francisco Chamber of Commerce Board Chair, Melinda Yee Franklin will host this webinar as we hear from CEO of the Accion Opportunity Fund, Luz Urrutia. We will discuss how AOF has pivoted to serve small business owners, specifically women-owned businesses, through the pandemic. We will also be joined by one of their San Francisco based women clients, Deanna Sison, owner of Little Skillet and Victory Hall to join the conversations and share challenges and opportunities they face as the Bay Area exits lockdown.

Luz Urrutia is CEO of Accion Opportunity Fund, the nation’s leading nonprofit lender to small businesses. She is a recognized financial services pioneer and an executive with a track record of leading organizations through change, bringing new solutions to market, investing in small businesses’ futures, raiding capital, and driving scale. Her career has been focused on financial services and serving underserved populations – from unbanked/underbanked immigrants to small business owners. Previously, Luz was Vice President of Retail Sales & Service at Opotun, Co-Founder and President/Chief Operating Office at El Banco de Nuestra Comunidad, and Managing Director at Wachovia Bank.
