The San Francisco Chamber of Commerce fully supports Police Chief Greg Suhr, a native San Franciscan and 35-year veteran of the San Francisco Police Department. He has spent his career inside the SFPD and no one is better equipped to make the necessary reforms to improve public safety. Rather than wrapping up his tenure in November politics, our elected officials should be focused on giving the Chief and the Police Commission the tools to lead the department and protect our residents.
