Spark Conference 2025: Light the Way at Accenture’s Innovation Hub

SAN FRANCISCO, CASpark Conference 2025 was a huge success! The 8th annual Spark Conference brought together a vibrant community to ignite inspiration and celebrate the achievements of women paving the way toward a more inclusive future.

This year’s event, themed “Light Your Way,” highlighted the courage and curiosity essential for navigating periods of transition and change, culminating in a celebratory sunset networking hour that strengthened business and personal connections.

Attendees heard from an inspiring lineup of speakers:

  • Staci Slaughter, Chief of Staff to Mayor Daniel Lurie, discussed rewriting the playbook and reshaping one’s story within the community.
  • Moderator Cammy Blackstone, SF Chamber Board Chair and Director of External Affairs at @ATT
  • Dr. AnnMarie Baines, Founder of The Practice Space, explored the significance of authentic storytelling and empowered participants to discover the strength in their own voices.
  • Elise Cornille, Chief Marketing Officer at @Accenture, encouraged everyone to lead with resilience, empathy, and emotional agility through times of transformation.

The event also featured Terry Bortz, Director of Special Projects for Super Bowl Breakfast, and Natasha Piñero, Director of Development and Strategy at Prison Fellowship, who demonstrated how leadership and mentorship can chart a course for lasting impact, especially in the Bay Area’s sports landscape.

All programming was supported by local women entrepreneurs and small business leaders, culminating in a celebratory sunset networking hour that strengthened business and personal connections, thanks in part to the support of sponsors Accenture, Verizon, Southwest Airlines, and PG&E.

Local, small businesses featured in the sunset networking hour included Kasa, Ceviche, Epicurean Connection, Mochi Love, Jinka, Daybreak Vietnamese Coffee, and more; featuring a special guest appearance from Warriors Legend Festus Ezeli of Festus Feasts!
