2024 Excellence in Business Awards Winners Announced
San Francisco, CA – October 23, 2024 – Last night, hundreds of business and community leaders gathered for the 2024 Excellence in Business Awards, presented by The San Francisco Chamber of Commerce, to celebrate the achievements of local leaders and innovators at the recently renovated Regency Ballroom. The event honored businesses and organizations making significant contributions to the community, with an evening of awards, inspiring speakers, and captivating entertainment.
“The Excellence in Business Awards are a time to come together and lift up those in our business community who are leading through positive impact. There is no other word to describe last night than joyous – I never cease to be proud to be a part of this inspiring city,” said CEO and President of the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce.

Award Winners
The 2024 Excellence in Business Awards recognized outstanding achievements in several categories:

- Small Business of the Year Award: Trick Dog, presented by Blue Shield of California
- Sustainability in Business Award: Zauben, presented by Recology
- Diversity & Inclusion Champion: KQED, presented by Alaska Airlines
- Non-Profit of the Year Award: Renaissance Entrepreneurship Center, presented by Kaiser Permanente

Event Highlights
The evening kicked off with a warm welcome from Emcee Franco Finn, followed by Abigail’s introduction of Circus Bella, performing to “Paper Moon.” Guests were greeted by a stunning floral archway crafted by Ampersand SF, creating a beautiful backdrop for photos. Inside the Regency Ballroom, artist Matt Elson displayed his interactive Infinity Mirrors, offering a captivating art experience that guests could engage with throughout the night. Variety acts like Kirk Marsh, Toni Cannon’s strongman display, and contortionist Elise Hing entertained between awards, complemented by finalist videos that highlighted each nominee’s achievements.
Speeches from Alfredo Pedroza, SF Chamber Board Chair and Wells Fargo, and Chamber CEO Rodney Fong underscored the value of partnership and community support, thanking sponsors and attendees for their dedication to San Francisco’s growth. The night concluded with a sing-along of “I Left My Heart in San Francisco” led by Circus Bella.
