Event Schedule & Experience
VIP Reception
- Time: 5:30 PM – 6:00 PM
- Location: African Hall
- Who: Open to Sponsors, Board Members, Finalists, and VIP Ticket Holders (Enjoy exclusive early entry, welcome drinks, and check-in ahead of general admission).
General Admission & Gala
- 6:00 PM | Doors Open & Check-In: General admission check-in begins. Guests can enter and enjoy welcome drinks and light bites. The queue for the Planetarium in the Planetarium Lobby opens at this time.
- 6:30 PM | Planetarium & Piazza Doors Open: Planetarium doors and glass-domed Piazza doors open for guest seating and exploration. (Note: Planetarium seating capacity is prioritized for VIP ticket holders; early arrival to the queue is strongly encouraged).
- 7:00 PM – 7:50 PM | Awards Ceremony: Hosted inside the world’s largest all-digital planetarium dome, celebrating our top business and civic leaders.
- 7:50 PM – 9:00 PM | Celebration & Networking Reception: A vibrant evening reception across the museum spaces with food, beverage, entertainment, and innovation.

Over the generations, the Excellence in Business Awards (EBBIES) have served as the City’s premier benchmark for corporate leadership, civic Innovation and community Impact. The EBBIES have honored the organizations, visionaries, and changemakers shaping San Francisco’s economic and cultural heartbeat. This is San Francisco’s celebration and recognition of the Bay Area’s visionary entrepreneurs, business leaders, and exemplary corporate citizens.
Our 2026 Selection Process: To ensure absolute credibility, the Chamber has transitioned to a quantitative, metrics-driven evaluation process. Each category will feature three distinguished finalists invited to the stage, culminating in the announcement of one category winner.
