Delegate Trips

We work closely with lawmakers to ensure that our issues are voiced at all legislative levels. A key part of this work is our delegate trips, where we convene business and civic leaders to shape public policy and share the business perspective with local, state, and federal lawmakers and officials.

CityTrip DC Delegation Trip

March 11-13, 2025

Each year the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce organizes an advocacy trip to Washington, DC.

Our recent trip brought delegates to Washington, D.C. to meet with congressional representatives, advocate for San Francisco’s businesses, and engage on key issues from economic growth to urban resiliency.

Delegates also connected with leaders across California, including the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce, to strengthen regional collaboration.

CityTrip Japan

May 10-17, 2025

The sold-out CityTrip Japan brought San Francisco delegates to Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka for an immersive week of cultural discovery and professional exchange.

The group explored Japan’s business and innovation hubs, attended the World Expo, and built meaningful connections with local leaders and industry organizations.

The San Francisco Chamber of Commerce hosts CityTrips to other cities domestically and internationally that mimic San Francisco’s diversity and face similar issues. Past CityTrips have included destinations like Vancouver, Seattle, Austin, Sacramento, and Phoenix.
