Water Bond Approved for November Ballot

A $7.5 billion water bond measure was approved by California state legislature and signed by Governor Jerry Brown last week. The bond will now head to CA voters as Proposition 1 on November 4th. The bond, reduced in size from the original $11 billion, includes $2.7 billion for water storage projects, $900 million for groundwater cleanup and monitoring, $725 million for water recycling and $1.5 billion for watershed restoration projects.
