Target and its partnership with the Heart of America Foundation gave the Hillcrest Elementary School Library a “makeover.” The library remodel leveraged environmentally sustainable materials and furniture and is bringing new technology and 2,000 books to the school. In addition, Target partnered with San Francisco Food Bank, Inc. to create a “Meals for Minds” food pantry at Hillcrest Elementary, providing students and their families with convenient access to fresh, healthy food and produce. Also this week, San Francisco welcomed CityTarget SF West, a 119,000-square-foot store at Geary and Masonic.
