SAN FRANCISCO, CA, SEPT. 15, 2014—The San Francisco Chamber of Commerce, San Francisco’s largest and most vibrant business network with a membership of more than 1,500 business organizations, today announced the appointment of Craig Vandermause as the organization’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

The Chamber and its members will immediately benefit from his welcomed addition.”  
Vandermause joins the Chamber from Herschend Family Entertainment, the nation’s largest privately owned themed attractions corporation, where he has served as Vice President and General Manager since 2010. In this position, Vandermause managed, and significantly grew, two local San Francisco business units including Ride The Ducks and Classic Cable Cars.
Vandermause also spent the last seven years managing one of the most recognizable and successful Bay Area charity events in the annual John Madden & Steve Mariucci “Battle of the Bay” Charity Bocce Ball Tournament.  It is one of the only Bay Area events that is backed by all six professional sports teams including the A’s, Giants, 49ers, Raiders, Sharks, Warriors.

As the Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Vandermause will be responsible for growing the Chamber’s membership engagement and revenue through entrepreneurial leadership, strategic planning, innovative partnerships and motivational management of internal and external teams.
Vandermause will join the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce on October 6, 2014.
Previously, Vandermause worked at TBA Global/Kuoni where he managed San Francisco’s award-winning engagement marketing agency and destination management company. Vandermause also held an array of positions in professional sports, including posts with the NFL’s Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions. An active member of the community, Vandermause serves on several local and state boards, including SF Travel, Fisherman’s Wharf Community Benefit District, Fisherman’s Wharf Merchant’s Association, and CalTravel Association. He holds an MBA from the University of Michigan and a bachelor’s degree from Lake Forest College, in Lake Forest, Illinois.
