The Chamber’s foundation partner, Leadership San Francisco, graduated its Class of 2014 last week. The class, which took part in the signature program, Leadership SF (LSF), completed a ten-month curriculum which included site visits to San Francisco General Hospital, Recology’s Recycling Center and schools in the S.F. Unified School District, as well as ride-alongs with the San Francisco Police Department and presentations from former mayors Willie Brown and Art Agnos. “This was a very strong class that embodies what it means to be leaders in San Francisco,” said Dianne Easton, Leadership San Francisco Executive Director. The class will now implement the skills and knowledge learned through the program to undertake a project to address a need in the city. Read more.
