Commuter Shuttle Pilot Program Starts Rolling

The San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) Commuter Shuttle pilot program launches on August 1st. Last week the SFMTA board of directors approved a fee increase in order to solidify funding for the program and finalized the list of shared Muni stops and white zones to allow the project to move forward as planned. The Chamber helped lead the business community in advocating public support for the program, which serves 35,000 San Franciscans, takes 327,000 single-passenger vehicle trips off the road each year, and cuts carbon emissions by 11,000 tons annually. Read more.
