Supervisor Mar discussed his plan for a tax on sugary beverages, the need to address the city’s housing issues, and the fight to bring more reliable transportation to San Francisco communities. “As a transit-first city there’s a lot we can do to make public transportation more of a viable option,” said Supervisor Mar. “I’m a big proponent of doing what we can now to improve service as part of a ramp-up to large-scale solutions, like the Geary Corridor Bus Rapid Transit Project.” The next Supes for Lunch is January 15 with Supervisor Scott Wiener.
