Business and Tech Come Together

The Chamber hosted our monthly President’s Roundtable at Hack Reactor, a 12-week immersive JavaScript coding school whose graduates consistently place as mid- to senior-level engineers at top Bay area tech companies. Hack Reactor CEO Tony Phillips welcomed the group, noting the growing need for talented software engineers to make their voices heard in business. “No matter the business here, whether it’s Wells Fargo or a small independent company, you can’t grow your company without talent,” said Bob Linscheid, President & CEO of the SF Chamber. “The gap between the available talent in the tech sector and the demands of the industry is substantial and growing.” Beginning in January, the Chamber President’s roundtable will circulate among different venues and industries throughout San Francisco.
