Super Bowl 50 Revenue By the Numbers

The Chamber of Commerce celebrates the success of Super Bowl 50. The Controller’s Office report reflected the positive impact that the SB50 events in San Francisco had on the city budget. 

The nine-day span from Saturday, Jan. 30 to Sunday, Feb. 7 saw an estimated net total surplus of $2 million after counting estimated total city revenues and expenses. The SB 50 Host Committee estimated 1.1 million fans, including visitors and residents, attended Super Bowl City and the NFL Fan Experience hosted in downtown San Francisco.
