The Chamber spoke out strongly against the illegal Muni “sickout” which had significant impact on commuters, residents and visitors earlier this week. “Muni workers’ ‘sickout’ is nothing short of a strike – a clear violation of the City Charter,” said Chamber President & CEO Bob Linscheid. “These spiteful actions were both unnecessary and unlawful.” The Chamber called on Mayor Lee and city officials to intervene and deploy disciplinary action pursuant to voter approved provisions of the City Charter.
