Health Care Security Ordinance

As part of our mission to attract, develop and retain business in San Francisco, the Chamber is committed to providing businesses the resources they need to do business in San Francisco. We are dedicated to providing our members with the very best options available in today’s market, and access to healthcare that meets the compliance requirements of the new Health Care Security Ordinance.

In anticipation of the impact of this legislation on San Francisco businesses, the Chamber and SF Works developed a program in May of 2007, the Chamber Health Advantage Membership Plan (CHAMP). CHAMP offers members choice, value, savings and customized solutions for their businesses. We are also hosting a series of seminars with representatives from the Office of Labor Standards Enforcement and Healthy San Francisco in order to educate business owners and offer options on how to be in compliance with the ordinance.
